State Policy Network Invites Cardinal to Moderate Panel on the “Forgotten American Worker”
On August 31st, Cardinal Institute spoke on the “Forgotten American Worker” panel during the State Policy Network’s 25th Annual Meeting in San Antonio with over 1,200 attendees.
The following is the panel description provided by SPN.
Policies for the Forgotten American Worker
For a decade or more, Forgotten American Workers have seen their taxes increase, their healthcare premiums rise, and their paychecks stagnate or disappear. This voting block burst on the scene as a new power player in the 2016 election, and they are demanding change. Our Network’s solutions have mostly failed to reach these workers. In this interactive workshop, attendees will share ideas that your state can implement to help Forgotten American Workers provide for their families and feel more confident about the future.
Moderator: Garrett Ballengee, Cardinal Institute
Speakers: John Davidson, The Federalist; Henry Olsen, Ethics and Public Policy Center
